Work Shirt updated and built resumes for entry level and underemployed workers in shelters, low-income housing developments, and across NYC.

How It Developed
Work Shirt purchased and otherwise collected interview and first pay period attire for workers in various fields in order to support returns to work during COVID. Work Shirt assisted about 40 different individuals with their interview clothing needs.
September 2020
How It Started
Work Shirt began as a street sales support group that assisted street vendors with setting up online stores and signing up for e-commerce platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Mercari. Work Shirt also ran street vending events, providing tables and assisting with maintenance and pre-event set up and post=event breakdowns and clean up efforts.
